Also See The Swindon community SK8 project site, its awsome and they have the right idea about setting up a charity! i have heard many unconfirmed reports that there is to be a new skateboarding facility at the back of the oasis leasure centre, however it can only be assumed as the council have done this before that the site will be of poor quality and outdoors which is certainly not ideal. ill try and keep all news posted.
Im Dissapointed in the recent lack of Support that the site has received so if u know of anyone who can support us please get them to log on and check it out!
The West Swindon Youth Worker organised Temperary ramps were visited by local councilers and a reporter from the link magazine. This was to help show there were many skaters in swindon all over the place.
The Ramps are open on mondays 4 - 6:30 and Wednesday 3-5:30 during the summer months unfortunately the closest thing we had have to a skate park has closed for the summer.
